Bacon and "Whipped Cream"

This week in Hondo Texas was interesting.... I made some awesome Chocolate Cake, but then I burnt it :( but I still ate it :), My companion and I rode our bikes for a day, which just so happened to be the only day out of the week that it Rained! It was fun, we stayed pretty dry actually.  We ate Dinner with an awesome family who is known for pranking the missionaries... They tried to feed us Ice cream with "whipped cream" on top..... but I know my shaving cream smell from my whipped cream smell!! Couldn't fool us! Then we were driving home and almost made a few hundred pounds of bacon out of a wild hog with our truck! Lucky for him, and us, we swerved around him and nobody died. Haha it was funny, I'm usually pretty good at spotting deer in the road, but never wild boar! The Lord protected us :)

As far as the work goes, The recently baptized investigator received the Holy Ghost in sacrament meeting yesterday! That was sweet. Then Our awesome investigator bore her testimony and said how excited she is to be baptized on Nov. 6th!  Other than those two people our teaching pool is pretty small. We’re doing a lot of “finding” right now.  Hopefully we can find the prepared people the Lord has waiting for us!

I love you all, have a good week and I'll talk to you soon!
